Brooks 40 Under 40\, and the recipient of the Auburn Hills Chamber AHP Women Leadership Award (chosen among 19 nominees). She has spent the last decade relentlessly and fearlessly advocating for the rights and equal opportunity for adults with developmental disabilities. She also actively volunteers her time serving on various committees and advisory board.\n\n\n\nLeslie Emmert-Buck\, MD\, PhD\, CEO and Owner\, Capstone Vision\, PLLC\n\nAs a Board Certified ophthalmologist owning her own practice\, Dr. Emmert-Buck is quite the entrepreneur visionary. She has held medical licenses in three states. Her education began in the Detroit area with a full four year academic scholarship\, then she moved to Maryland where she earned her M.D.\, PhD\, completed her residency and surgical fellowship. Dr. Emmert-Buck has been recognized and earned awards for excellence in healthcare and changing the way business is done. She is actively involved in her community\, volunteers her time to support charitable organizations\, and speaks for organizations on various topics. Dr. Emmert-Buck also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce.\n\n\n\nLenise McWhorter\, Manager\, Community Relations & Volunteer Engagement - External Affairs\, Assistant Secretary - FCA Foundation\, FCA US LLC\n\nWearing various critical hats at FCA US LLC for the past seven years\, Lenise has an extensive background in community relations\, business development\, events\, and special projects. Her high profile roles began working for the City of Detroit Mayor Dennis W. Archer. She then went to work for the President of Oakland University. The next stage in her career\, Lenise spent a decade in various positions with increased responsibility at the Detroit Institute of Arts. Her experience set the stage for her next role overseeing events and emergency management at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum.
