Position: Scent Specialist
Location: 3312 Auburn Rd., Auburn Hills, MI 48326
Type: Part-time

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere
- Guide customers through the candle-making process, including scent selection, wax pouring, and customization options
- Assist customers in choosing fragrance combinations and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the candle bar, including organizing supplies and cleaning workstations
- Stock and replenish inventory as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in candle-making processes
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product knowledge with enthusiasm
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and exceptional customer experience
- Contribute to the overall success of the candle bar by actively participating in team meetings and sharing ideas for improvement

Requirements:
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail or hospitality setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with customers of all backgrounds
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Keen sense of smell and ability to discern various scents
- Basic math skills for processing transactions
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Passion for candles, scents, and creating memorable customer experiences
