SpringHill Suites Auburn Hills celebrates their employees, guests, and community with Hospitality Specialists Inc.’s own 5th annual HSI Cares Month.

The SpringHill Suites is excited to highlight the efforts made to celebrate HSI’s Care Month which was May 2019. Every day is an opportunity to do good within your means, but we put forth additional praise and support during this time. Each week of the month represents a different group to celebrate and the SpringHill Suites Auburn Hills did the following,
Employee CARE- Each staff member received different gifts throughout this week. Some items included a Subway gift card with a thank you note for all their hard work, t-shirts and tote bags that says Thanks for being Awesome, an ice cream social that was donated by Culvers and last but certainly not least, casual Friday. This was the perfect way to end the work week! The staff was allowed to wear an item from their favorite sports team.
Guest CARE- Our guests were greeted with a different treat each day! A nacho bar was a great kick-off event followed by a candy bar and popcorn table as well as an ice cream social. It was a joy to be able to speak with our guests and tell each one why we are truly happy to have them stay with the SpringHill Suites while in Auburn Hills.
 Team CARE- The Springhill Suites’ team made and donated 100 CARE packages to Grace Center of Hope. The packages included soap, lotion, toothbrushes, shampoo, and conditioner. The Grace Center of Hope is a center for homeless men and women as well as a drug rehabilitation center.
Community CARE- Staff members donated linens to the Baldwin Warming Center and Grace Center of Hope. It is a pleasure to be able to donate the hotels slightly used linen to know that we are keeping someone warm throughout the year.
It is a time that is enjoyed by all and the employees look forward to it every year. Kristen Davidek says, “HSI cares month is the best! It lets us come together as a team for the greater good of the community!”
Ashly Dixon says “HSI cares month is great for morale and boosted the energy within our team!”
Bridgette Robinson says “The best part of employee care week was to be able to wear jeans and our favorite sports team T-shirt.”
 
A huge thank you to our local Culvers and to Sysco for their donations of food. Culvers donated ice cream for our staff to have an ice cream social, and Sysco donated items for the guest nacho bar. Their donations are greatly appreciated.
