Rochester’s own Neighborhood House is a charity that means something to those who live, work and play in this town – and now, you have a chance to get back to giving back by attending a concert!
A portion of the proceeds from the Royal Park Hotel’s Sept. 12 Vertical Concert with Collision Six will go to benefit Neighborhood House, a non-profit that helps our neighbors with food, financial aid, clothing and other needs on a path to sustainability.
“Neighborhood House believes in compassion and inclusion for all neighbors experiencing hardship. In 2020, by joining together as a community of neighbors helping neighbors, our organization served 224,000 meals and provided nearly 3,000 additional services including counseling, utilities, budgeting and career development. Together we have the power to make a significant difference in the lives of our neighbors.”
The Sept. 12 Vertical Concert, which will be from 7-9 p.m., will allow guests to enjoy featured drink specials and food while dancing the night away to the lively and fun cover band Collision Six. The concert is presented in partnership with Beam Suntory group and sponsored by Knight Technologies, OUR Credit Union, D.C. Byers, and The Detroit Pistons.

The Royal Park Hotel’s popular Vertical Concerts began last summer as a way to enjoy live local music while in a socially distanced, outdoor environment. In partnership with Maker’s Mark, the shows are Michigan’s only Vertical Concert series.
Attendees can watch the show from the PARK 600 restaurant terrace or the private terrace of a hotel room or suite – all while enjoying custom cocktails and locally crafted cuisine.
“We couldn’t be more excited to help out a charity that helps so many people in Rochester,” said Sue Keels, Royal Park Hotel general manager. “Neighborhood House is always there for residents and we are thrilled to be a small part of their wonderful mission.”
