TICKETS NOW ON SALE FOR ALL-NEW HOLIDAY LIGHT SHOW “WINTER WONDER LIGHTS” AT MEADOW BROOK HALL
New holiday attraction to run Nov. 27 – Dec. 30 in Rochester on Oakland University's campus

ROCHESTER, Mich., Oct. 27, 2020 Tickets are now on sale for Meadow Brook Hall’s all-new holiday light attraction—Winter Wonder Lights! An interactive and imaginative light experience unlike any other in the state, Winter Wonder Lights will transport visitors to an enchanted world of lights and magic on the grounds of the National Historic Landmark.
Located in Rochester on the campus of Oakland University, Meadow Brook Hall will build on its tradition of being a major holiday destination with the new outdoor light show, which will run from Friday, Nov. 27 through Wednesday, Dec. 30.
“Winter Wonder Lights is an exhilarating attraction that will bring the season of splendor to light for families, friends and people of all ages, said Shannon O’Berski, external relations director of Meadow Brook Hall. “While the show takes place primarily outdoors, there is an option to tour the main floor of the historic mansion decorated for the most wonderful time of the year. Not only will Winter Wonder Lights spark your holiday spirit, but the attraction features bonfires, photo spots, live organ music, a delicious array of food and seasonally-inspired beverages—and plenty of holiday cheer.”
Winter Wonder Lights will follow COVID-19 health and safety measures, such as physical distancing outdoors and timed guest entry to maintain a safe event capacity. Meadow Brook Hall’s traditional indoor Holiday Walk has been cancelled for 2020 because of the ongoing health and safety challenges surrounding COVID-19. Holiday Walk will return alongside Winter Wonder Lights in 2021.
Winter Wonder Lights will run Tuesday through Sunday from Nov. 27 through Dec. 13 and will then be open daily until Wednesday, Dec. 30. The attraction is closed on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 24 and 25. Hours are 5:30-10 p.m. with last admittance at 9 p.m.
All tickets must be purchased online at meadowbrookholidays.com for a specific date and time. Tickets are $22 each for adults aged 13 and up, $12 for youth aged 3-12 and free for children 2 and under. Active military and veterans receive tickets for $18. Every youth ticket comes with a pair of special interactive holiday glasses.

Meadow Brook Hall is the historic home built by one of the automotive aristocracy’s most remarkable women, Matilda Dodge Wilson, widow of auto pioneer John Dodge, and her second husband, Alfred Wilson. Constructed between 1926 and 1929, Meadow Brook Hall represents one of the finest examples of Tudor-revival style architecture in America, and is especially renowned for its superb craftsmanship, architectural detailing and grand scale of 88,000 square-feet. It was the center of a country estate that included 1,500 acres, numerous farm buildings, recreational facilities, several residences and formal gardens. Named a National Historic Landmark in 2012, Meadow Brook Hall strives to preserve and interpret its architecture, landscape, and fine and decorative art so that visitors may be entertained, educated and inspired by history. Meadow Brook Hall is located in Rochester, Mich. on the campus of Oakland University.
