Desert Angels & Esys - Miracle Box item collection for our Troops
Esys and the Desert Angels will again be joining forces to pack Miracle Boxes to send to our Troops. “Miracle Boxes” are care packages that contain a variety of needed items.
Items can be dropped off at Esys (1670 N. Opdyke, Auburn Hills, MI 48326) any time during our regular business hours (8 am-4:30 pm) from now until June 20th.
For those that would like to contribute but are not in the area to drop off items at Esys, we have set up a link through PayPal where a monetary donations can be made. The money raised will be used to purchase the much needed items for the Miracle Boxes.

ITEMS NEEDED BY OUR MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN
Items for Winter: Caps, scarves, hand warmers, foot warmers, gloves, dark colored socks for men and women (year round), holiday stockings to fill up with goodies.
Personal Hygiene/Medical: Combs, brushes, Q-tips, chap stick, eye drops, stick deodorant, body lotion, individual Kleenex packs, razors, toothpaste, tooth brushes, mouth wash, body wash and bar soap, manicure sets, baby wipes, Cortaid & Benadryl creams, BioFreeze, foot care products, travel size toiletries, lotion, shampoo and condi-tioner for all types of ethnicity, tampons, men-strual pads, hair clips, hair brushes and ponytail bands. (NO Aerosol, nail polish or perfume)
Breakfast Foods: Pop Tarts, Granola Bars, pre-sweetened cereal, cereal bars, oatmeal, Cream of Wheat, powdered dry milk, and sugar.
Beverages: Hot chocolate, Gatorade, Crystal light, Kool-Aid, coffee, instant coffee, flavored dry coffee creamer, tea, soup and Tang drink.
Pocket Foods (Individual Packs): Slim Jims, beef jerkey, tuna in foil pouch, fruit, pasta, canned chicken, mac’n’cheese, canned meat, noodles in a cup, peanut butter and Ramen noodles.
Snacks: Rice Krispy Treats, Lifesavers, brownies, homemade cookies, nuts, raisins, snack cakes, dried fruit, trail mix, Pringles, pretzels, crackers, sun flower seeds, all kinds of candy, hard candy, tootsie rolls, M&M, Skittles, Air Head candy and chocolate candy. (chocolate from October to March)
Recreation: Footballs, soccer balls, hand held games, cards, DVDs, music CDs, crossword puzzles, Suduko, golf clubs, golf balls, pens, paper, envelopes and blank greeting cards.
Additional Items: Pocket Bible, small and large zip lock bags, travel size pillows, pillow cases, socks, wash clothes, towels, large bandanas, neck coolers, t-shirts, Purex 3 in 1, and batteries (AA & AAA). Also, collect items for K9’s such as dog beds, chewtoys, treats, shampoo, and other grooming items.
