EDGE Workshop: JADE Strategies
The Leadership Blind Spot:
Closing the Gap Between Intention & Impact
Most of us know the kind of leader we intend to be. But is that the leader others actually experience?
Even capable, well-intentioned leaders have blind spots, and the gap between intention and impact can influence trust, performance, relationships, and readiness for greater responsibility. In this highly interactive lab, participants will uncover where those gaps can occur and explore how self-awareness and meaningful feedback can reveal what we may not see on our own. Through practical exercises, reflection, and discussion, participants will leave with strategies for turning greater insight into stronger, more intentional leadership.
Attendees will learn how to:
- Recognize common leadership blind spots and their impact on others
- Identify gaps between leadership intention and perceived impact
- Use feedback and self-awareness to strengthen leadership effectiveness
- Navigate differing perspectives without becoming defensive
- Turn insight into targeted strategies for continued leadership growth
