Accent Pontiac Presents: Music for the Soul

On March 10th at 6:00 pm., Accent Pontiac presents Music for the Soul, Pontiac's premier winter music event at the beautiful Strand Theater in historic downtown Pontiac.
 
This event features nationally-acclaimed artists Nicole Joseph, Alvin Waddles, and LaVonte Heard, as well as Accent Pontiac student musicians, Melanie Rutherford as the MC, and the Accent Pontiac Community Choir. Tickets are $45; VIP tickets are $125, which includes an opening reception and premier seating. We are reaching out to all the surrounding communities in an attempt to make this a sell out event at 800 attendees.
 
Accent Pontiac is a leader in youth development and music education serving students in Pontiac, MI. They offer intensive, quality music programming 4 days a week including access to musical instruments and instruction, transportation, and meals free of charge. Students experience performances, field trips, guest artist events, and summer music programs. Accent Pontiac youth build confidence while developing leadership, teamwork, and music skills.
