Block Stamp Making Party with Paint Creek Center for the Arts

It will be an evening of inspiration when Meadow Brook Hall plays host to a special linocut block stamp making party, with materials and instruction provided by Paint Creek Center for the Arts.

All skill levels are welcome in this art-making activity, which takes place in Meadow Brook’s two-story Gothic-inspired ballroom.

Enjoy a sip and a bite as you learn how to make your very own linocut block stamp. Linocut is a thin, rubber-like material made of linoleum that can be easily carved into to create limitless unique shapes or designs. All supplies are included with the cost of registration.

Stencils featuring Meadow Brook Hall motifs will be provided, and feel free to bring your own idea or design to sketch out yourself. Once your stamp is carved, you’ll be able to create your own prints onsite and take the stamp home to create custom prints over and over again. Great for custom gift tags, family emblems, Etsy shop owners and so much more!
