Peer learning is one of the most underutilized yet powerful drivers of growth, performance, and engagement in organizations. As our culture continues to shift and we learn more about learning styles, creating peer to peer learning experiences are becoming more necessary and effective.
This interactive 90-minute seminar explores how learning with and from peers accelerates insight, builds capability, strengthens culture, helps drive succession planning and is often more effective than traditional top-down training. The session is highly practical and immediately applicable, whether for leaders or team members.
This workshop is designed to help leaders:
1. Explore the value of creating a culture where Relationships Matter
- Learn about the value and power of vulnerability
- Reflect on principles of Healthy Communication
- Gain an understanding of the importance of Conflict Resolution
- Explain what peer learning is and why it outperforms purely individual or expert-led learning in many contexts.
- Recognize the cognitive, social and motivational benefits of learning alongside peers.
- Participate in at least one structured peer-learning activity to see its impact firsthand.
- Reflect on how peer interaction deepens understanding and accountability.
- Learn 3–5 simple peer-learning practices that can be used in meetings, training, coaching, or team development.
- Create a personal or team-level action step for integrating peer learning into daily work.
Meet the Instructors:
Lisa Goyette and John Ball are the principal owners and co-founders of CH Training and Coaching. They specialize in working with leaders, professionals and businesses to help create healthy, productive and engaging work environments by helping to humanize and maximize the potential of each person who is a part of the organization. They pride themselves on developing a customized approach that is unique to the needs and culture of each client that they work with.Lisa and John understand that the human being in any organization is what matters most. Utilizing a “Relationship First” focus, the work Lisa and John provide results in: Fostering Healthy Work Environments, Employee Engagement, Increasing Productivity, Improved Communication Skills, Workplace Empathy, Cultural Awareness, Conflict Management Resolution and Confidence Building to name a few. That being said, they have a strong passion for helping people maximize their potential while experiencing personal and professional fulfilment. They are strongly committed to helping develop healthy, engaging, productive and fulfilling businesses and organizations.
They hold certifications in: Social/Emotional Intelligence; DEI; Conflict Resolution and Trauma Informed Care. Lisa and John are highly skilled coaches, trainers, public speakers and key note speakers. They have successfully trained thousands of people.
Refund & Registration Policy
Payment is considered final and non-refundable. An invoice payment option is available on most events 14 days prior to event date. Cash and credit cards are usually accepted. A confirmation will be sent for all transactions with the Auburn Hills Chamber.
