From May through November 2019, participants will meet one day each month for 2 – 4 hours at various locations. The ILEAD Class of 2019 will be recognized during the 2020 State of the Community – a great way to build recognition and awareness for your company.

August 20, 2019 You've Arrived... SO WHAT! The Journey from Doing to Leading
Recognition of your efforts has taken shape. Learning to lead, with or without "THE TITLE," is a lifelong process. This session will build upon the previous session on behaviors and motivators through personality dimensions and give you a solid foundation for turning the corner to being an inspiring leader. We'll unpack the leadership formula using 3 critical elements to go from "doing everything" to "leading others."

September 17, 2019 Impact Auburn Hills
Lead by example and serve your community. For ambitious leaders, voluntary work is a key ingredient in the recipe for advancement. As well as profiting from the sense of making a difference and contributing to a larger purpose, volunteering can help develop a wider perspective, creative thinking, excellent networking and hone leadership qualities. We will visit and tour three non-profits of the Auburn Hills Community Council and learn about their impact, focus, and charitable mission.

A workshop on the Collaborative Conversation Model. This model aligns Stephen Coveys fifth habit of Highly Effective People - Seek First to Understand, Then to be Understood, with the four step powerful coaching conversation model. Participants will learn how to address challenges individuals face personally and professionally. Asking the right questions will lead those individuals to self-discover solutions and commit to action! This is a powerful workshop ideal for anyone in leadership, from entry level management to CEOs, helping them to become effective listeners and impactful thought leaders.

November 20, 2019 Vision 2039
Strong leaders are willing to dare the future, moving beyond certainties and into possibility. This means being risk-takers, moderated by reflection. In this session, we are going to consider what our lives might be like 20 years from now. We will:
- Engage the creative process to envision possible futures
- Uncover obstacles we must initially overcome so that dreams become reality
- Rehearse tactics that help us overcome difficulties
- Create a personal 20-year roadmap to Leadership Success
