STEP UP for Down Syndrome (SUDS) Walk/Family Fun Event
We are proud to announce the 9th Annual 2013 Step Up for Down Sydrome Walk to benefit Down Syndrome Guild of Southeastern Michigan.
Help us celebrate the lives of people with Down syndrome at the Palace of Auburn Hills on Saturday, September 28, 2013. Get your walking shoes ready, your tailgating gear packed and join us for a ton of family fun! The walk will take place around the perimeter of the Palace of Auburn Hills (rain or shine). Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome. NO DOGS please. Parking is free.

How the Step Up For Down Syndrome Walk benefits the Community
Our 2012 Walk was a huge success with over 100 teams, 2,000 walkers and 150 volunteers. Over the last 8 years, we have raised over $600,000 in support of people with Down syndrome. The majority (90%) of funds raised during the Walk are spent on programs and events that directly benefit members, educators and the medical community. In addition, over $10,000 in proceeds from the 2012 Walk event were also used for the DSG Family Scholarship Program.
