Job Overview

MedFresh is a fast-casual Middle Eastern restaurant serving fresh, cooked-to-order food in a clean and welcoming environment. We’re looking for a friendly and dependable Cashier to join our front-of-house team.

This position is responsible for greeting customers, taking orders accurately, handling payments, and helping maintain a clean and organized front counter area. Because we’re a smaller restaurant, we’re looking for someone who is personable, attentive, and takes pride in creating a great first impression.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
• Take orders accurately and efficiently
• Process cash, credit card, and digital payments
• Answer menu questions and make recommendations when needed
• Keep the front counter clean and organized
• Restock front-of-house items (utensils, napkins, beverages, etc.)
• Assist with light cleaning duties in the front area
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure accurate orders
• Help with opening and closing front-of-house duties

Qualifications

• Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
• Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to stand for extended periods
