Small Businesses Invited to Apply for Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program in Detroit
Detroit, MI —May 4^th, 2026 — Small business owners across the region are invited to apply for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program, a nationally recognized initiative designed to help entrepreneurs grow and scale their businesses at NO COST. The program is currently recruiting for its Fall 2026 cohort, which will begin in September 2026.
The general application deadline of June 2^nd has been updated to May 18th. Chamber members are encouraged to indicate their membership within the application.

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses provides practical, hands-on business education, access to capital, and a powerful peer network. The program is tailored for established business owners who are ready to move from working in their business to working on their business.

Participants gain access to:

Program impact continues to be strong, with 66% of alumni reporting increased revenue and 44% reporting job creation within six months of completion.
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Annual gross revenue between $75,000 and $20 million
• At least 2 full-time employees (or equivalent, including the owner)
• A minimum of 2 years in business
