Hockey Mentors Needs Your Vote! Help Us Keep Adaptive Skating Free!

Hockey Mentors, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is competing in Chief Financial Credit Union's 2026 video contest for an opportunity to receive funding to support its mission.

Founded by Wyatt Lucas, Hockey Mentors provides completely free adaptive ice skating and hockey opportunities for individuals with disabilities, veterans, and first responders. Through specialized equipment, one-on-one volunteer support, and a welcoming community, Hockey Mentors makes it possible for individuals of all abilities to experience the joy of being on the ice.

Our video, "Like Me," features some of the incredible individuals whose lives have been touched by Hockey Mentors. Their stories show why accessibility, friendship, and belonging matter.
